I went here with my cat as a new patient. She was young and I rescued her so she needed shots , ears checked, worm check, the whole works. They are very friendly at the desk and the veterinarian was as well. He checked her over, gave her shots and when I inquired about possible parasite infection because of being born a stray etc., he explained that rather than pay for a stool sample and all the parasites possible that it would be better to give medication to cover parasites if they're there and that it won't harm her if not. I was reassured and he gave the liquid one time medication. I can't remember him looking in her ears, the appointment went so quickly. Well it turned out that she indeed did have tapeworm AND she had either ear mites or something else making her ears itchy and irritable. So I paid somewhere close to 70 bucks and ended up with ordering Amazon medication for her worms and ears. Ugh ... Not sure why or what or how but that's how it went down. I've not gone back since.

Love this place, been going here for years. My grandma came here for years. He saved two of my dogs from the brink of dying. Thanks to blumhorst I still have my service dog. Thank you blumhorst so much.
The people here are great. They really love your pet and give it personal attention. We had an emergency and they were there in an instant. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Dr Blumhorst is The BEST. I wouldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else. Very thoroughly explains everything and does the best ear cropping. His ladies are amazing too.
